This page describes how information is used on harsimran.pro.

The website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand website traffic. Analytics is enabled on the public harsimran.pro domain. Your chosen light or dark theme is saved locally in your browser.

When you use the contact form, your name, email address, selected topic, and message are forwarded through Web3Forms to sayhi@harsimran.pro. This information is used to respond to your inquiry. Do not include confidential project information in the form.

Selected LinkedIn posts, when available, load only after you select Load LinkedIn post. Loading an embed connects your browser to LinkedIn, which may receive technical information and use cookies under its own policies. Booking links lead to Calendly. LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, and external project links take you to separate services with their own privacy policies.

Article reactions use a first-party functional cookie to remember your reaction and reduce duplicates. The cookie lasts up to one year; verified commenting sessions last seven days. Reaction counts are approximate and are not a count of unique people.

To comment, you provide a public display name and a private email address. Verification messages are sent through Hostinger from contact@harsimran.pro. Comments are held for owner approval; approved comments, display names, dates and author replies are public. Email addresses, pending comments and reports are accessible only to the site owner. Submitting a comment does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Comment and verification data is stored in the portfolio database. Verification codes expire after ten minutes and expired verification records are cleaned up during later verification requests. Hashed network identifiers and request counters help limit abuse. Comments and reports are retained for moderation. To request removal of your comment or associated information, email contact@harsimran.pro.

Insights subscriptions are separate from comments. We store your email, consent wording, request time and confirmation time in the private portfolio database. A confirmation link expires after 24 hours; expired unconfirmed addresses are removed during subsequent subscription requests. Hostinger sends confirmation and newsletter emails from contact@harsimran.pro. Newsletter emails contain an unsubscribe link and do not use tracking pixels.

Unsubscribing removes your email from the mailing-list record and stops future campaigns. A non-reversible keyed identifier is retained to record suppression, alongside campaign delivery status. The owner can view confirmed and pending subscribers, remove them, and send only reviewed campaigns. Mail-server acceptance is recorded; inbox delivery and email opens are not tracked.
